Our skin is all shades of beautiful from pretty pecan brown, caramel, espresso to delicious cocoa black skin. In former years, there was not a lot of representation when it came to beauty products for dark skin but thankfully you can now get shades that work great. - Emerald. This is a beautiful green associated with the popular gemstone. Many green shades blend into the background but emerald really stands out. It is very calming to the eye but rich and luxurious in tone.

3. Cobalt: This is a dark rich blue. It pops more than navy blue and can be worn more festively. This is a versatile fashion color for many skin tones especially darker ones. This colour highlights the rich tone of African skin.
4. Red: This offers so much. Red evokes passion and power, but it can be a bit overwhelming for some people. You can play around with different shades of red such as, bright scarlet or a deep ruby. Red looks amazing on African skin.
5. Yellow: This is a happy colour and you can express your joy by wearing it. This colour is perfect for African skin. It looks vibrant and rich.
