Happy Thursday! Indulge in these lyonnaise potatoes; quick to make and super delicious. Enjoy!
Ingredients
For 2 servings, you’ll need:
12 medium-sized potatoes, peeled and sliced into ¼-inch thick rounds
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons margarine
3 onions, thinly sliced
1 stalk of dhania, finely chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste
Method
1. In a sufuria, add the potatoes. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Once boiling begins, cook for about 5 minutes until crisp tender. Drain completely.
2. In a pan, add 1 tablespoon of margarine and 1 tablespoon of oil. Heat until combined and add ½ of the potatoes and ½ of the onions. Let them cook on low heat for about 5 minutes, until the potatoes start to crisp and the onions are golden. 3. Add the rest of the margarine, oil, potatoes, and onions and continue to cook, mixing until all onions are softened. This will take about 15 minutes.
4. Add in dhania. Season with salt and black pepper. Enjoy.
