Hey! The weekend is with us, yet again and we have some time to sleep in a little and relax. Today we are all about fruit face masks that work, are organic and easy to make. Fruits are rich in vitamins and minerals that are not only great for your health but for beautiful skin as well. Here are our faves.
- Banana mask: Bananas are rich in vitamin C, potassium and other nutrients responsible for skin elasticity. If you have dry skin, this is the perfect mask for you!
What you’ll need:
½ banana
½ teaspoon of honey
Method
Mash the banana and add the honey.
Mix well and apply on clean skin and leave for about 20 minutes, then wash it off.

2. Pawpaw mask: Pawpaw pulp is great for unclogging pores and removing dead skin cells as well as absorbing excess oil from the skin. Here is a great recipe if you have oily skin.
What you’ll need:
2 tablespoons pawpaw (mashed)
1 teaspoon orange juice
Method
In a bowl, mix the pawpaw and orange juice. Oranges contain Vitamin C which helps reduce excess sebum production.
Apply the mixture on your face and let it stay for about 20 minutes, then wash it off.

3. Mango mask: Mangoes are rich in antioxidants, which help skin repair itself as well as Vitamin C and E.
What you’ll need:
2 tablespoons mango pulp
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Method
In a bowl, add mango pulp. Add the honey and coconut oil.
Apply the mask on your face and let it stay for about 20 minutes, then wash it off.
